Sanctification is both the process of putting off the old, and putting on the new. Put off pride and put on humility.

Exodus 10:3 Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him, "Thus says the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, 'How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me'"

Deuteronomy 8:2 - 3 "You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. 3"He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD."

Deuteronomy 8:16 -17 "In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end. 17"Otherwise, you may say in your heart, 'My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.'"

Psalm 10:17 O LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear

Psalm 25:9 He leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way.

Psalm 37:11 But the humble will inherit the land, and will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes dishonor, but with the humble is wisdom.

Proverbs 16:19 It is better to be humble in spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Proverbs 29:23 A man's pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor.

Isaiah 66:2 "For My hand made all these things, thus all these things came into being," declares the Lord. "But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word."

Daniel 4:37 "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride."

Zech 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, humble, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Matthew 11:29 - 30 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30"For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

James 4:6 - 10 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble." 7Submit, therefore, to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. 10Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

I Peter 3:8 - 9 To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; 9not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.
